Three days ago Netanyahu tried to provoke a ME war by bombing Iran's consulate. Iran are the people with missiles pointed at the sea lanes that carry most of the world's oil. They are good friends with the Houthis. So we are inches away from a war that triggers a catastrophic disruption to the oil trade. Europe is stuffed with complex societies already damaged by their sanctions on Russian energy and thus vulnerable to collapse - if not already collapsing in slow mo.
And its a genocidal psychopath who has his finger on the trigger.
